Dr. Malak Azab, PT, DPT, TPI CGFI, CKTP

Dr. Malak Azab is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and has been practicing physical therapy since 1995. In Aug. 2010, he became a Certified Kineso Taping Practitioner.

He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the prestigious Widner University in Chester, PA, which is one of the first in the country to offer a Clinical Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.

He opened his private practice in 2004 and named it in honor of his mother. He is proud to provide physical therapy for the Centereach, NY and Ridge, NY communities.

He has conducted clinical research on accelerated rehabilitation programs for postsurgical ACL patients and presented his work nationally to the American Physical Therapy Association.

Dr. Azab has over 15 years of experience with a variety of patients from infants with developmental delays to seniors with arthritis, balance, and chronic pain.

Dr. Azab's treatment philosophy:

  • He has advanced training in myofascial release, joint mobilization techniques, therapeutic massage.

Dr. Malak Azab received his Golf Fitness Instructor Certification from the Titleist Performance Institute. He has studied and researched the mechanics and injuries related to the golf swing.

Dr. Azab is married to his beautiful wife Sherry and has 2 wonderful children. In his spare time, Dr. Azab enjoys cycling, soccer, and fishing. He loves to participate in sports with his kids. He is also a Deacon in his church.

Dr Eric Lippman

Eric Lippman MD is a graduate of SUNY Downstate School of Medicine; he subsequently did his internship at North Shore University Hospital and did his residency at New York University Hospital Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine. He maintains a private practice in Hewlett. His practice includes the entire scope of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is Board Certified in his specialty. His practice includes Cardiac Rehabilitation, Musculoskeletal medicine, Acupuncture, Pain Management, and Neurodiagnostic testing. He treats conditions, (such as carpal tunnel syndrome and peripheral neuropathy). Dr. Lippman has expertise in joint and soft tissue injections using either corticosteroids or viscosupplementation. He also has expertise using Botox for neck pain, and back pain as well as spasticity and migraine headaches due to strokes. Dr. Lippman is looking forward to serving the Centereach community.
